Handmade Wool Balls for felting crafts, 2 size options

Very pleased to be able to add this new product to our store!

These wool balls are cleaned, rolled and felted by us, and the current base wool used for these is Perendale, from a local farm.

There are lots of dryer balls on the market that people use for crafting, however, these wool balls are handmade by myself, from local wool, and not mass factory produced from overseas wool!

As each one is crafted by hand, there are slight variations in size, and in the firmness of the balls.

Pictured in the photographs are what they can become! They are perfect for adding wet felt or needle felt details, or can be embroidered, or beads and other detailing can be added.   (these photos are for show purposes only, and they are not for sale)

They are perfect for creating baubles and hanging decorations too!

There are 2 sizes currently availble -

Our small balls - these are approx around a 9cm (3.5") diameter, and have a circumfence of around 18cm

Our large balls - these are approx around a 15cm (6") diameter, and have a circumference of around 30cm

Please note:

1.  These are not suited to use as tumble dryer balls, as they are not machine made and pressed, so will shed fibre.

2. Although these have been very well cleaned in around  90 degree celcius temperatures, some dirt may remain trapped in the fibres, and there may be a small amount of VM in some of the balls.
