Approx 9-12", these suri alpaca locks have been well washed, and are in their hand dyed in a strawberry blonde/light copper theme
The original fleece was a honey colour, so there are some gorgeous caramel and honey tones too!
This fibre is from Popham alpacas in Cornwall, and I have visited their farm and can confirm their animal welfare standards are superb!
Suri alpaca is a cherished fibre - it takes the alpaca 2 years to grow their fleeces before they are shorn.
It's incredibly soft and silky
I've added photos in different light conditions, so you can see some locks are light, others have darker tones, and all of the tips are a straberry blond/light copper tone.
I've also included a photo of one of the locks which had been brushed out, so you can see what the locks look like once they are brushed.
Beloved by doll makers, suri alpaca fibre is perfect for rerooting as it's such a fine fibre, and it can also be used to make wigs or wefts too.
