Description
100% hand processed mohair locks
These come from Barthek, one of our wether male angora goats.
Our herd is a pet herd, and they have a home with us for life here at Tregaver.
Mohair is exceptionally soft and silky, and is considered to be one of the most valued natural fibres!
These locks range between around 2-5", although some may be a touch shorter or longer and are sold in a 10g bunch.
They are the natural colour of the goat - white and cream - please note that mohair is not pure white unless it's been lightened or bleached, and we never use any harsh chemicals on our fibres.
There is a small amount of VM (vegetable matter) in some of the ringlets - please see photos. These pieces of hay etc can easily be shaken or teased out of the fibre.
These ringlets are perfect for crafting, and are very popular for santa beards, gnomes and other mystical creatures!
