More about our Fibres:
Our Teeswater Loose Curly wool
The Teewater curly wool locks in this batch come from our own flock, and has been hand dyed in a blue/purple shade, with more purple on the tips ,and in a teal with a mix of blue aqua and green tones
Our carded wool
Professionally carded by the Natural Fibre Company in Launceston, Cornwall, it consists of wools from our own flock, mixed with some Devon and Cornwall Longwool from Tregondale, and some Perendale from Hannah's Flock.
Our carded wool felts wonderfully - the Devon and Cornwall Longwool wool gives it a coarser texture, which means it's fast to felt.
To get the best results from our carded wool, take the length and gently pull side to side to free up the fibres, and it will form a mesh that's easy to use in all felted creations and other fibre arts.
Due to the long staple length of some of these breeds, our carded wool contains long fibres, and is perfect fot creating a textured finish to your project

Our Core Fibre
Our uncarded cream core has been been scoured (professionally cleaned), and it may have a very small amount of VM which is easily removed.
It's made up from a mixture of breeds, and species so may contain wool, mohair and alpaca, so no batch is the same.

It's absolute madness to ship wool in excess of 18000 miles, when we have our own farmers, here in the UK, growing some beautiful wool. I still can't get my head around why it's cheaper to import wool, rather than to use th
